This was at the Bunratty folk park. There was a castle, traditional style houses to walk through, gardens, and lots of pretty scenery.
The Cliffs of Moher...like I said, one of my favorites. The pictures don't even do it justice.
Ireland's own little stonehenge. This was in "the burren" -a rocky region of Ireland. This was an old (don't know how old) headstone type thing that was found.
The Blarney Castle, kissing the Blarney Stone (it supposed to give you the gift of gab or eloquence in speaking...totally a tourist trap if you ask me), and sanitizing after kissing the Blarney stone. We heard that the locals pee on it, but we put lots of chapstick on and kissed it anyways.

The Castle at Adare Manor. We didn't stay in the castle- we stayed in the villa that we're standing in front of. But we could use all the facilities in the castle and ate at the restaurant there, which was so good!

wow- those pics are soo pretty!! It looks like you guys had a lot of fun. That is really gross that the locals pee on it.....good thing you put lots of chapstick on..i hope you washed your lips real good too!

Kate, it looks so amazing! Your pics are beautiful. I love the castle by your villa, and the picture with all the boats on the water is so neat. Those cliffs are amazing, i wonder if anyone has ever fallen off. Are you going to make an Ireland scrapbook?
What a great trip! The first picture is my mind's postcard of Ireland. I LOVE the ivy covered castle, how cool. OK, we are doing a girl's trip to Ireland - say, in 10 years. I'll be old, but still able to get around!
