Yay!

I got a raise today :) Not huge, but I'm still happy about it.

Our behavior is increased or decreased by the consequences (what happens after the behavior). Positive consequences are more effective in maintaining a behavior than punishment is in decreasing a behavior. So having a more reinforcing consequence (making more money) is more likely to increase my working behavior...as evidenced by me writing about work on our blog.

Woo-Hoo! that's awesome Kate. You must celebrate! They must love you there since they are rewarding your behavior!

Congrats, Kate! Written like a true behaviorist, too.

Good for you Kate! Did you ask for it, or did they just realize what a super employee you are.
We're happy for you!
