Alex's dreams came true the other day when we dropped some lunch off for Troy and saw that the buses were parked by the high school. This boy LOVES buses, tractors and trucks. Anyways, I happened to have my camera with me so I took a few shots of him getting up close and personal with the buses.

We have exciting news....
NO, we are not pregnant, but we've found a house! Troy and I feel good about buying a house here in Big Valley, we think we'll be here for a while. This is owned by a couple who did a lot of work (see kitchen below, it's AWESOME) on it themselves. It's only a 2 bd., so as part of the deal they are going to convert part of the 4-car garage into 2 more bedrooms. It's on 10 acres with a lined pond that we can fill and swim in. Our lease isn't up here until July, so we have awhile to wait. Although after our most recent power bill came today (over $500)and we talked to the people who's house we're going to buy and they said we can move in as soon as the rooms are done (probably April-ish). So we'll still be paying rent here at this house til July, but no power bills to PG&E. The new house is in Adin (I won't have to say I live in Nubieber!), and is with a different power company that is TONS cheaper. So hopefully it will all work out. We are excited to have a place to call our own again! On a side note...we got back from Utah yesterday and had a nice visit with Troy's family. Dev and Cam played non-stop with their cousins Carter and Trevor (Kerri's boys) and Audrey had fun with Bailey (Darby's daughter). Jill came with her daughter Tayah (who is the mellowest kid around!) and Tyler came too. Nathan and Bev couldn't make it, but they may come and visit us in March. Cheryl came down too, (Glenn stayed home with Corey) It's hard to believe Kyle (Tani's oldest) is leaving on a mission, I went to his baptism when Troy and I were engaged. Am I getting older? I hope you all had fun in Vegas, wish I could have been there!

More Abigail Jean
Kate, I think you knitted this hat for Lizzie when she was born. It looks so cute on Abigail! She's like a little bohemian baby.

Office Fix
The last few Offices have been H-I-L-A-R-I-O-U-S...here's a couple quotes from the last episode that I had to rewind and see a few times because I was laughing so hard.
ANDY: " I am single now. What we have here is the ulitmate smackdown between the Nard-dogg and crippling despair, lonliness and depression. I intend to win."
and.....
DWIGHT: " Are you trying to hurt my feelings? Because if so you are succeeding. Fortunantly my feelings regenerate at twice the speed of a normal mans. "

Drum roll please...
Welcome Abigail Jean Lambourne
Born: Jan. 31st 20099:19pm
Weight: 8 lbs 5 ounces
Length: 21"
Delivered: at home by her Daddy!!...that's right, you can call me Mr. Mid-Wife.
The whole thing went down in about 45 minutes flat. It must be a record time for labor to birth and it was definently a surprise to all of us who were just talking about getting a movie for the night and maybe the baby would be born the next day. Carrie and I went on a walk to get the mail at about 8:30pm. When we got back, the heavy labor just kicked in all of the sudden. Next thing you know, I'm playing doctor and delivering my own daughter...in my own bedroom! The mid-wife arrived about two minutes after Abigail was born and took over with the clean up detail.
Both mom and baby are doing great! I think Grandma Crowley is a little traumatized, but it went down perfect. We were blessed that everything with the birth go so good (no funny business with the cord or anything) and that we were allready prepared for a home birth, because we would have never made it to the hopsital!
Abigail is a beautiful little angel who we can allready tell is going to be determined. When she makes up her mind to do something, she isn't going to wait around for anyone! I think we're going to nick name here "Action Abby."

The Mid-Wife and here Assistant.
I love the way they weighed little Abby, like a fish or something!
Sorry, the pics didn't turn out they way they're were supposed to. First time blogging, first time home birth, first time delivering a baby...a lot of firsts this weekend. At least I got the baby right!
